The Department of Dordogne is committed to ensuring that the collection and processing of personal data carried out from this application comply with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, as amended, relating to information technology, files and freedoms, and with European Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016.
Personal Data Management
The personal information that the Department collects via the application comes from voluntary communication by individuals through input in the application. For the DORIE application, the email address and username are the personal data collected.
The Department of Dordogne is responsible for processing and does not transmit this data to any recipient; it is reserved for the use of its services only for the implementation of the DORIE application. No collected data is transferred outside the European Union.
The personal data provided is subject to computer processing but is not subject to automated decision-making or profiling. It is only kept within the limit imposed by the purpose of the processing: until the user account is deleted or if your account is inactive for a maximum of 3 years.
Location Data
Please note that using the application involves collecting information about the user's geolocation, after obtaining prior authorization through accepting permissions on their phone.
The purpose of this data is exclusively to guide Dorie users on walking routes and to points of interest of local heritage.
Outside of routes or creating an itinerary to a point of interest, users' location data is never recorded or stored by the Tourism Service of the Departmental Council of Dordogne or its providers. It is not transmitted to any third parties either.
At any time, users can revoke their consent and withdraw the authorization they granted for their location by modifying their phone settings.
Your Rights
In accordance with the current legal framework on personal data protection (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR of April 27, 2016, and the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, as amended), you have the right to access, rectify, and limit the information concerning you. You can also determine what happens to your data after your death. You can also withdraw your consent at any time.

A copy of the personal data concerning you can be provided to you upon request. However, the Department of Dordogne reserves the right to oppose manifestly abusive requests, particularly due to their number, repetitive or systematic nature.
